A HOOT OF A BIRTHDAY AND MORE

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. Now that it is over I can concentrate on some more stitching finishes and focus on new projects I wish to do. ( There is always so many of them!) But first I want to show you what 2 lovely ladies from my craft forum gave me for my birthday. I have known Vicki and Barb for many years and we have met a couple of times.  First, I must introduce you to " Copperfield" the beautiful appliqued owl that Barb made for me.

Isn't he stunning! I looove him.   Also adding to my owl collection is this beautiful little glass owl that Vicki has given me. Here is a pic of him on my thimble rack alongside 2 other wee owls in their shells. He is a charmer!

I was also spoiled by my mum and dad who gave me these 2 lovely jugs, I love blue and white and I actually saw these when I was shopping with mum and she bought them and put them away. My menopause memory  kicked in  and I had forgotten all about them so it was still a surprise.  Ya gotta laugh!

Since then I have been merrily stitching and completed the 2nd Celtic Knot BOM. I am really loving doing these ( at the moment- I know they get progressivly more difficult).

I have completed 3 more stitcheries for Cotton Country and I am about to start the last one. Woohooo!!!

As winter shall be upon us in a couple of months I bought a pattern for a scarf I rather like  and the yarn in a variegated prurple colour.

I think I have bombarded you with enough pictures for today. and I really need to go and stitch. Remember to take time to smell the roses and I send you Angel Blessings.
