I am constantly amazed and delighted by all the wonderful stitchers I have come to know through their blogs. I recently sent my first FHFS project to
Fiona which I hand pieced and hand stitched. The theme was "hexies" so I was in 7th heaven making it. I incorporated 3 of Gail Pan's stitcheries using a Cottage Garden thread called Viola.
My birthday was a month ago but it seems that gifts are still rolling in. Wooohooo! Today I received a lovely parcel from
Sue as part of the Fat 1/4 Birthday Club. You can see the gorgeous bag she made for me as well as some cute little Tilda cards, some lovely soap from Paris, yes PARIS, a cute little tape measure and a lovely pattern. The other thing you see in the foreground, the black and purple pouch, quite stumped me. I opened it and out popped a fan lol. Perfect for my frequent hot flushes.
A big thankyou Sue
You may know that I am a bit of a Gail Pan groupie. Well, mum also loves her stitcheries and has made me this cute framed birdie.
Yesterday I bought a new digi camera as my old one is about 10 years old and only has 3 x zoom and 5.1 mega pixels. It is also slightly bulky. I thought a slimmer, lighter camera with more zoom and 20.1 megapixels might be better to carry when I go away on holiday .Guess what colour it is? PURPLE. Now I have to learn how to use it . I wish I had more zoom myself!
