Today I visited a bric-a-brac shop and what did I see A beautiful angel looking up at me She was shoved in a corner amongst many things Then I saw her twiggy wings A pearl necklace draped around her neck Her own little watering can, so what the heck I couldn't resist her as you can see She is now resting quietly at home with me.
I'm not really a dolly person but I do love angels. To think that someone had lovingly made her and she ended up at a bric-a-brac shop for $5-00 is quite sad but I am so glad I found her. She was waiting for me. I have finished my 2nd crocheted baby blanket for the Womens' Refuge and have started another one already. Well, when the weather allows me to crochet without perspiring hands.
I have 2 quilts awaiting binding to be sewn on which may be here next time. Thankyou so much for stopping by again. Angel Blessings.
The angel is gorgeous and I am so pleased you rescued her ... all that work and ended up in a bric brac shop ... there has to be a story behind that.
ReplyDeleteYour crocheting is lovely:) The multi coloured wool works out wonderfully.
Thanks Shirl. I would love to know how my angel ended up there too. I'm glad she did though. I think I am rather hooked on crocheting now. (No pun intended).
DeleteSo pleased to see the angel found a loving home with you, love your blue ripple blanket and I'm sure whoever it is given to will love it as well :) Barb.
ReplyDeleteThanks Barb. I think I am hooked. Pardon the pun.
