GRINDING HALT

Do you ever have times when things are rolling along nicely but then you come to a grinding halt? Well, that seems to happen to me a lot when sewing. I showed you Val's BOM I was sewing sashings on to in my last post. Well, I decided to piece mine a bit more simply than Val's design so I would save time . By the time I unpicked some of the sashings I had already stitched on and pieced them all together I realised that I had no fabric in my stash for the borders. Here's me getting all excited using my stash and now I have come to a complete stop. Looks like I need to go shopping.

I did, however, finish Jenny's Vintage Kitchen BOM. I just need to find some perfect buttons for it. I am looking forward to Jenny's new BOM she is planning next year. Go and take a peek.

I have made some progress with this project which is in Gail's "Patchwork Loves Embroidery" book. I used some of the stitcheries in a hexie swap a while ago and had heaps of fabric left over so I decided to make something for myself seeing as purple is my fav colour anyway.

Now I am off to stitch some more.

Angel Blessings.
